Husqvarna
During my time at Husqvarna, I worked as a designer on the company’s app for robotic lawnmowers. My primary focus was to modernize the app’s interface through a comprehensive redesign while ensuring that new features were integrated in an intuitive and user-friendly way.
By working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, I helped create a more visually appealing and easy-to-navigate experience for users. The goal was to improve the app’s usability and accessibility by updating the visual design and optimizing interaction patterns to fit different devices and user needs.
Beyond the redesign, I worked on finding the right placement for new features in the app, ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the existing structure without compromising simplicity. I was also responsible for creating subtle animations to enhance interactions and provide users with a more modern experience.
A key part of my work was building prototypes to test larger new features with external users. Through these usability tests, we gained valuable insights into how the design performed in real-world use, identified potential issues, and iterated on solutions before implementation. This approach ensured that each new feature was both user-friendly and effective before being rolled out.
Through iterative design, prototyping, and continuous user testing, we created an app experience that was both modern and functional.
